What information I hold

Business contact details, meaning business name, town, phone number and general email address, gathered from publicly available sources such as business directories and company websites.

Anything you send me when you get in touch, and any notes I take if we meet.

If you become a client, the information needed to do the work and to meet my tax and legal obligations.

Why I hold it

To offer services that may be useful to your business. My lawful basis for this is legitimate interests, specifically direct marketing to businesses about services relevant to them.

Who else sees it

Nobody. I do not sell, share or trade contact details with anyone.

My email is hosted on Microsoft 365, so Microsoft processes it on my behalf as my service provider.

Client data

Where I am working for you and handling information about your own customers or staff, you are the data controller and I am your data processor. How long I keep it

Contact details until you ask me to remove them, or until they are clearly no longer relevant.

Client records for as long as tax and company law requires me to keep them.

To stop me contacting you

Email aaron@darcyautomation.com and say so, or just tell me on the phone. I will take you off my list permanently.
